BLDG Projects is a woman-owned and operated architecture firm located in Chicago, Illinois. We are a team of creatives looking to add our touch to the future of building and spacial design, in cities across the country with licensure in 13 states.
We work on projects from start to finish. No designing bathrooms or specs only here :) we work on small to large projects directly in-house. Residential, Commercial, Industrial - Renovations, Rehabilitation and Landscape/Outdoor Design.

Knowledgeable in architectural drawings + programs, and able to multitask
Minimum 5years Project Manager/Designer experience in Chicago

Architectural Designer (BLDG Projects, Inc.; Chicago, Illinois): Responsible for coordinating project design, developing creative design concepts and solutions for projects, and preparing presentation and design drawings. Work on architectural design projects and coordinate project design efforts. Develop planning and creative design concepts for design projects. Prepare presentations and design drawings and details.

licensed or unlicensed PE Drafter for Mechanical + Electrical (MEP)
Residential + Commercial projects
Experienced in Revit and Excel.
Minimum 10 years of in-field experience
Experience in Chicago is a plus.
In-office position
Able to work in fast paced environment that works on projects from initial measurement to finished permit process.

Proficient in Revit, Enscape + other 3d software is a bonus

Pay increase minimum annually, at times bi-annually.
An average of 5-20 PTO days dependent on length of employment. 4 paid Holidays.
NCARB Hours sign off.
Flexible non-PTO hours off.
Work Hours: M-F approx. 38-48 hours weekly; Weekends not necessary, but allowed to work weekends as well.
Retirement Fund Investment of choice is paid 50% up to 3% of check.
